VISUAL EVIDENCE • IGNIDENTIFICATION
What you’re looking at
This patient may look ordinary between movements. The useful clue is motion rather than a permanent face change, so a still glance can miss it.

- Brief neck roll
- Movement may only last a moment
WHAT TO DO
Reject the patient once the irregular movement is confirmed.
- 1
Watch the patient for several seconds.
- 2
Confirm that the movement is an involuntary jerk rather than an idle pose.
